Organizing your information, GOTV

Copy the GOP urls so you can refer others to them on the phone and through your site.

You are building a Ron Paul infrastructure to be used for the nomination process and then in the general election. We need to parallel the Republican Party in this, looking ahead to a Get Out the Vote Campaign. Organize it like this one in Iowa. You do not need to spend any money. You can use a blog from blogger.com. Just look over Iowa and copy it.

On line you also have the amazing resource of Ron Paul on Paper The Ron Paul Library. This is a compilation of writings by Ron Paul that you can reformat, print, send, and use to answer more specific questions when asked.

You also have the resources provided by Ron Paul Graphics for signs, buttons, bumper stickers and more. You can also get inventive and make your own. Be nice. Please send in other links.

Ron Paul Republican Cards

This little card is a way for us to reform the whole dialogue about contributions. Every Ron Paul Republican Voter equals many dollars Ron Paul does not have to raise and spend. The whole point of campaign contributions is the end product – VOTES. Candidates can spend many dollars for a single vote. This streamlines that process, allowing us to count each pledge as money in the bank. Gloat, gloat. The media will see that.

The little card, a regular business sized piece of card stock, is something you can either print out yourself on ready to use stock from your local office supply store or have printed cheaply online. It is two sides. The first side is a membership card that pledges the signer to vote for Ron in the Primary and General Election. The back side is contact information. When you sign someone up get their contact information, including their e-mail address of mailing address. The card should include this information: RON PAUL REPUBLICANS, STATE, PLACE TO PUT THE NAME OF THE PERSON BEING SIGNED UP, THIS TEXT: “I hereby Pledge my vote to Congressman Ron Paul in the 2008 Primary and General Elections.”

The back has a list of contact information, including how to contact their Ron Paul Republican site locally or in their state. Ask them to put in in their wallet and keep in touch.

There are a lot of great graphics people out there who can design cards. Hint, hint. I will also put up a jpeg, but others will do better, I am sure.

The compiled list of Ron Paul Republican Voters become a database for your use locally and to pass on information about rallies in your area, across your state and from Ron Paul HQ. Keep accurate records and send on the numbers and contacts to your county and state and to the RP HQ every few days, as your state thinks best. Always keep a copy for yourself
